It's Dr. Oluwasemilore Titilope Lizzy's Birthday!

It's Dr. Oluwasemilore Titilope Lizzy's Birthday!!

I didn't request for her consent to post this but with the indept love in my heart, I am oblige to do so by my own consent

Happy birthday to a girlfriend who is as sweet as LOVE, honey and beautiful (Ebonite) as JEHOVAH. Thank you for making my life sunny and bright.

Darling, I bought you a little something to celebrate your birthday. if you say yes to my birthday gift to you, that will be awesome and loving

You are one of my best girlfriends, folks, pals, mother, love master in the entire world. I just want to say thank you for choosing me to celebrate with you on this special day. We are going to have an amazing time tonight as I am your love slave for the next 24 hours.

When I look at your eyes I see a bright and sparkling future for the two of us. Happy birthday!

In your smile I see something more beautiful than stars.
Indeed, I am happy to see you alive, healthy, more pretty, you are an epitome of beauty, you are a blessing, infact more than a blessing. I can't even describe you to the fullest, but with the little word I can say, accept them.

"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

I also want to use this medium to send my note of apology, that whichever way, I must have offended you, physically, materially, socially, spiritually, lovely in all ramification of life, I want to say "I am Sorry".

RE: RULES AND REGULATIONS GUIDING "NOUN STUDENTS' INFOROOM"

RE: RULES AND REGULATIONS GUIDING "NOUN STUDENTS' INFOROOM"

Sequel to the publication of the above reference published 25th April, 2016, some matters arose and call for response from the school of thought that wrote and published it.

I hereby want to make some observations and comments.

First, I want to say, I, as the privileged creator of the group has never one time or the other call myself Boss or Lord over anyone. I repeat, I am not Boss or Lord over anyone. We are co-students of a great institution with the sole aim to be useful to ourselves and the nation.

For the purpose of this main objectives, unity and oneness is a tool or an agent that can be used to achieve this primary or main objectives. And a method or strategy that can bring this unity and oneness is the help of social media of which Whatsapp is one.

Whatsapp group has brought us all together to share, to relate and be one. If a group is created and titled, I think the primary aim should be met before any other thing. "NOUN STUDENTS' INFOROOM" has been created for a main objective which is to share all infos relating to the institution that can be of help to every participants.

The group has been before some people were added, it now happen that, the group is now taken for a platform where unnecessary jokes, chats are not carried out all in the name of "fun". Knowing fully well that it disturbs others. "Group Chat" is a simple phrase which simply means, collection of people involving in a conversation. But here in this group, you'll find "2persons" chatting private issues at times, discussing unedifying words hereby causing others to regret for been a participants in the group, and the major cause of this is because no rules and regulations guiding the platform. Like we all know, "where there is no law, there is no sin" but "where there is law, there is sin" this is one of the reason why the rules and regulations came to be.

NOUN STUDENTS' INFOROOM wasn't created where some exchange of words (abusive) can take place, if such happen, then, the so called leader or admin, lack leadership skill, 'cos as a leader, no doubt everybody is a leader, and as one, you should be able to regulate your followers. We should know fully well that, you are not the only one in the group, and you shouldn't allow your freedom cause a stumbling block to your fellow, if it causes a stumbling block, my dear, you have sinned..

Some people were removed, and they took offense e.g. Kenny, David, to mention but a few, among them, some called me "idiot", "fool", "is this your own christianity", with wisdom God has given me, and by the grace of God, I administers over hundreds of employees, I can't reply such people, I'll just ignore them. Why must you take offense when you are removed, I am not seeking for your pleading, but discipline should be our watchword. If you can't obey simple rules, how much more the instruction on your exam question paper? STUDENT is not Study and Entertainment.

As a student who wants to make extra-ordinary, he or she must be:
S - Studious
T - Time Conscious
U - Understanding
D - Discipline/Diligent
E - Expectant
N - Nurturing
T - Tough Minded

In my own capacity, and by God's grace, which I keep praying for, I want to touch lives, with the little I have done to some participants here and even those that are not here, and many outside the country which I can't mention, I know I'll be fulfilled when I die. Let's learn to be discipline! Catching fun is good! And I must tell you, nobody in the platform catches fun up to me, but my watchword is discipline. You may see me to take things serious, you are wrong! I am a disciplinarian, I grew and I'm growing among disciplinarians, and it has been helping me in ramification.

NOUNites, you all know, I am not been paid for creating the group neither am I loosing in any area, but I took it as a responsibility, a privilege and courage to be able to gather hundreds of my fellow and co-students.

The rules are set for proper conducts of every participants, I don't mean to hurt anyone with them or prove to be sentimental or been nepotism or bias, I only want to inculcate the virtue of DISCIPLINE in every participants, and I want to say, if we live and conduct ourselves by this rule, the group will be beneficial to all.

But at this juncture, if you aint pleased with the rules, you may/can leave. I am a man of my words and I can't reverse it, but if you think the rule can't work.... Uhmmmm, well, I know what to do

I'll continue tomorrow,

I'm off to library, good night and God bless you

I am always myself, no one can be me, I have a name, I am

RULES AND REGULATIONS GUIDING "NOUN STUDENTS' CHATROOM"

RULES AND REGULATIONS GUIDING "NOUN STUDENTS' CHATROOM"

Before I outline these rules, I want you to note some things.

1. The rule is not to hurt anyone
2. The rule is to help achieve the sole aim of creating the group
3. Nobody is a Boss in this group
4. These rules and regulation is made on this day 25th April, 2016.

Also, few minutes after the publication of this rules, the group name will henceforth be "NOUN STUDENTS' INFOROOM"

This is because, many participants here mistook the group name as a platform for chatting and unnecessary discussions.

Here the rules are as follows:

RULE 1:
Don't argue over silly matters
Nowadays there are huge number of complains that there have been quarrels over petty issues on this platform. A group is something where you must cherish your sweet moments with your friends or family. It's not a battleground where you can take a pistol and shoot the other! If you do want to argue with an individual, visit his/her private chat and put forward your opinions and not on this group where you disturb others, low their batteries with irrelevant chats. I as a person want to plead, that you stop it. But if anyone if found wanting in this will be removed and won't hear any opinions.

RULE 2:
Refrain from chatting with a single person
Do you know the meaning of a group? A "group" is a collection of individuals who interact with each other on a regular basis and share their thoughts. You could very well switch onto a private chat if you want to have a talk with a particular person. You must interact with all of your buddies in a group and treat them equally. Well,it puts off others in a group when they switch on their cellular data and find your nonsensical messages to a single person in a group! But in the same vein, when you want to add up a person from the group for a private chat, I employ you have proper manners, well behaved so as to avoid insults and been blocked, be courteous and don't have negative interior motive. If paraventure you do otherwise, you add a participant up and he or she sends complaints about you, you'll be removed and be blocked!

RULE 3:
Never begin a topic that would hurt religious or cultural sentiments
This is a definite no! NOUNites is an institutions consisting of students from different religions and cultures. There would be a Hindu, a Christian, a Muslim, a Sikh or even a Zoroastrian. And of course, there will be students hailing from North,South,East and West. Why don't you welcome them with a warm heart instead of stabbing them with a religious post, comment or pic? Though they might be helpless (remember they are not political hotshots to fight against you for your post),you will surely receive their wrath that would last for a lifetime! And to avoid this, it is strictly advised that you don't post such and if you do, you'll be dealt with!

RULE 4:
Don't make fun of anyone
Yes, making fun or bullying somebody in a group like this is the most atrocious way of irritating them! Do you even know how the other person might feel? Infact, do you know who he or she is, a millitary man, an armed force or an herbalist! Do you know if you make fun of someone, They are being enslaved to ubiquitous shame and they would never show up in the group if you gonna taunt them forever. There is a limit to everything and you must abide by that, failure to do so, it will call for your exit door and never to be re-added.

RULE 5:
Don't comment awful things about an actor or a celebrity
This is NOUN platform (although not official) and not a platform where you'll deliberate on a matter relating to a celebrity or an actor. No doubt, There is a fan for each and every actor/ celebrity in the world. You probably might not know about that and you would indulge in posting nasty comments about that particular celebrity. Well, then begins the war within a group! There are hardcore fanatics who would rip off your limbs if you ever try to bog down their favorite actor. They might worship them as Gods and you would find yourself in trouble for your not-meant-to-be-serious comment. If one or two or more participants is involved, for as many are involved, to them, we'll show the exit door. Please be warn!

RULE 6:
Don't spam with unnecessary chains and forward messages
This is very common among many whatsapp users. Euch messages include
"Plz Plz Plz..Forward this message immediately..This baby needs AB-ve blood.." (that baby would have probably
received blood way back in 2009 itself),

"WhatsApp will be off from 11.30 pm to 6:00 am daily WhatsApp logo will change color" (do you even know who is Aarohi Deshmukh?).

No doubt, You might have seen these messages right from when you have joined WhatsApp. And the trouble has followed you even after joining a group. These chains and forward messages are meant for nothing. They are hoax and are forwarded just for the fun of it!
If you do so, trust me, I'll remove you!

RULE 7:
Don't leave the group and Request to be Added
You might have deleted the group unknowingly. In that case, you can request the admin to add you back. But what if intentionally you leave the group just because you are frustrated or have personal issues with someone? The group is not to be blamed. Yes, you may ask the admin to add you back and might add you back with a warning. But even then if you insist on leaving the group, you will be eventually thrown out!

RULE 8:
Refrain from posting unnecessary things
Although this rule seems similar to RULE 1 to RULE 6. This means and show how important it is. This NOUN Whatsapp group is meant to be a specific one, specific in sharing issues related to NOUN, Academic Affairs, or Tips, Career Tips, News relating to education that can affect the participants positively and can be of good help to all. "Genuine Vacancies" can be posted, since the motto of the school is "Work and Learn". Participants can make requests on issues mentioned above. Wise Jokes can be posted and comments can be made but minimal. Excessive comments that calls for arguments and foolish talking may lead to the exits of parties involved

RULE 9:
Don't exhibit rude behavior or snap at anyone
Being rude on this platform completely exposes your true colors to your friends who were trusting you till then. If something angers you, politely move away from the chat or switch off your cellular data. Instead don't snap at the person who angered you with their post or opinion.
Remember everybody has the right to share their thoughts on any topic but not religious or celebrity related.

RULE 10:
Actively participate in the group
This seems very common as well, some participants will never share, or add, rather they'll be mute, simple what you are saying is, you can add value, and on this platform, we want participants that can and will add values.your participation on this group determines your attitude. Don't completely ignore and don't over-talk. It is enough even if you send occasional "good morning" or "good night" messages. If you have been busy, get back to your group once or twice in a week. Keep a check on the conversations so that you don't miss something important. If someone had an achievement, congratulate them even
though it maybe belated. Actively participate and keep the group alive!

Now, the group name is no more "NOUN STUDENTS' CHATROOM" but "NOUN STUDENTS' INFOROOM"

If you want to make comments on this rules, please do and if you know it doesn't suit you, kindly and honorably leave.

NB: Being the admin is a privilege and it doesn't call for reward. Please when making your comments be objective.

Thank you very much.

For no reason should this rules be copied and edited without the authors permission. If need be, consult the author.

RE: NOUN Examinations: Pen On Paper (POP) vs Electronic Exam (E-exam)

RE: NOUN Examinations: Pen On Paper (POP) vs Electronic Exam (E-exam)

With all my heart, I really appreciate your interest in my the Reference above, and I also want to use this medium to thank as many that showed interest in my E-books.

Having gone through the field of education, been in the field for a more than a decade now, and with my little experiences, I decide to come up with those materials and I hope you will enjoy yourself and your time to be spent reading them will not be a lost but you'll gain a lot.

These E-books are loaded with tons of information that can help you and your loved ones.

Back to the reference above, which I published on so many NOUN whatsapp group and Facebooks group, I couldn't continue with it because some school of thoughts have risen up with criticism and opinions that I think I should respond to.

I'll be addressing them one after the other.

The first school of thought, I won't mention name, said "the writer is jobless". Jobless in what sense? Writing a lengthy article or give clues to answer NOUN POP exams? My own interpretation to that statement is that "my clues are useless and are not of value". Let me say this, the truth is bitter and costly, so also information that is important is costly and hardly can you get it. I want to reply the school of though that said "the writer is jobless". It's not your fault but my own. But the fact is that, whether you want to deny it or not, from the clues I gave, tell me you didn't gain one thing, even little as it may be. Pleas feel free to tell me!

Another school of though said, "if you didn't receive lectures, you'll explain to me, how you were able to conquer those mathematics without a teacher or lecturer". I replied him, I said, my knowledge or skill in mathematics, is divine and it's God's will. Little is much when God is in it. I choose to study mathematics 'cos it's God direction for me and ever since I listened to his instruction, he has never failed me, and I have never regretted.

Now, from a school of thought that said "@Don, before you can conclude that NOUN POP exam is the cheapest, you have to go to other schools to write their exam before you say NOUN POP exam is the cheapest." I replied him and a colleague of my also replied him. I said, Examinations is not to fail student, it's a practice or an exercise put in place to test students over all progress in the scheme, or outline of a course. I also said, "you cannot give what you don't have". My colleague quoted a saying "proper preparation prevent poor performance".
If an exam is given to you, it's what you know you'll put down, if you put something excellent well, it means you are loaded, prepared for the examination! And I made this school of thought who is a Post Graduate student, that he shouldn't be surprise seeing an undergradute teaching a post graduate, all is, it depends on skill 'cos no one is a monopolistic learner or teacher, but her took the whole matter up and he became sentimental.

Hello NOUNites, before I drop my pen, let me share with you my experience in today's exam. I wrote MTH304 - Complex Analysis. We were asked to answer 4 questions out of 6 questions, not pride or boasting, I can answer all excellently and I'll score the whole marks. ask me how? Go back to my clue 2. I said

"Clue 2: NOUN has done their materials in a scholarly method. How? At the end of each Unit/Module, you'll see a bolded word tagged "References and Further Reading", a list of books will be listed there but many of us don't take note. Please go through all the units and modules of that course material, you'll find about two or three that are regular, please, go to bookshops, buy them! Although, financial constrain is there, you may buy one, 'cos most of the questions set comes from this textbooks and I bought about 3 to 5 for each of my courses and I must tell you, I found answering the questions easy! Also, if you check the course material on the 3rd page, you'll find something like "Course Write", the name of the author is there and the school where he or she lectures, make contacts with them, I must tell you, they are the ones that marks this scripts and set questions but not often! I met one in UniLag, Laspotech, etc... Although you may not be able to get all of them. Note that"

Could you believe that, all the questions, I mean all the question used in MTH304 for the exam, I came across them in the textbooks I bought (e.g Adavanced Engineering Mathematics by KA Stroud, Schuam Outlines on Advanced Calculus, the questions and answer are ther live and direct). I came across them during my studying. The exam was slated for 3hrs, I tell you, I didn't use up to 1hrs:30mins, and I answer complete four questions without left over! Now tell me, what grade do I expect when my TMA is 30 already? Isn't that A? I want to encourage you once again, my "Clue 2" may be difficult but it's God's design, apply it and I tell you, it will work for you.

I'll be release another E-book on the 20th April, 2016 titled "THE FUNDAMENTAL STEPS TO THE CHOICE OF CAREER".

If you'll like to have a copy! The time for sending request will be made know to you. Remember, IT'S FREE!

Thank you....

NOUN Examinations: Pen On Paper (POP) vs Electronic Exam (E-exam)

NOUN Examinations: Pen On Paper (POP) vs Electronic Exam (E-exam)

Examination some people say is a true test of knowledge. Uhmm, whatever they call it, all I know is that, after you have undergone a series of lectures and you aspire to be certified, then you must go through an assessment before you can be awarded a certificate and it's your performance in the examination that determine the grade your certificate bears.

National Open University of Nigeria and some other higher Institutions have two different options of assessing students performance. One is the Pen On Paper, also know as POP and the other is Electronic Exam which is common referred to as E-exam. I as a person have written series of this examinations both E-exams and POP but I found that of NOUN POP exams to be the cheapest while the E-exam, to be is just nothing when it comes to assessment and expression of student's real self when it comes to knowledge.

Now, in this article, I'll be comparing the two examination and I'll narrow down the scope to POP of which I'll give you clues on how to answer the questions, how to prepare for it, I mean NOUN POP and any other POP exams.

Now, Let's go....

Of course, once upon a time POP was the only option for anyone wanting to write (the computer is new, after all). But now it has its rival, a competitive rival. Has it lost its respect? I mean POP?

Not at all. A lot of people still write using pen and paper. They say it's faster, and that could be for you if you don't know how to type fast. And writing with the hand is easier as well. If you don't know how to type properly, the fingers will first find it painful, whereas writing using the pen is conventional and doesn't add stress. This is a point to keep in mind.

Note this Fact: Many poets still write on paper. The older generation still writes on paper. Paper is not a thing to be ridiculed as a medium of writing. Do your fingers get tired by typing too much? Try pen and paper instead.

My Preparation for NOUN POP Exams
Fellow NOUNites, I'll be stating some clues here and I don't want you to look down on them, but I tell you, if you do them, you'll definitely make it! And I assure you, you can score 50 to 60 something over 70.

The clues I'll be stating are what I did and I must tell you, in the two papers I wrote today, I was asked to answer 4 in the first exam (MTH307) and the other to answer 3 (EDU323). Rememeber, I don't receive lectures, I study myself, and mind you, my programme is B.Sc. (Ed) Mathematics, if this clue work for me and my GP at the moment is 4.0, I think it should work for you.

Go with me....

Clue 1:
Before the semester began, I downloaded all my course materials for that semester. Infact, I must tell you, I downloaded all of them from my Year 1 to Year 4 courses in the year I gained admission, 2013. If you haven't done that, pleas do!

Clue 2:
NOUN has done their materials in a scholarly method. Note that

Clue 3:
What did I do next? I visit a nearby Internet Service Provider (ISP) or a cafe, I searched for Lecture Videos on all my courses for that semester, I downloaded them all!

Clue 4:
After I have done Clue 1 to Clue 3, I did something, ask me what? I drafted a workable time table. I must tell you, my reading hours is 7hours daily! Common, it's for your own good! I do read from 10pm to 5am, sleep between 5am to 6:30am before I get set for work and I'll make sure I get to work 7:10am latest! But some can't study up to that, but minimum of 2hrs daily!

Clue 5:
After the drafting of time table, I start my studying. How?
+ I'll get a note
+ I'll study the course material and I'll also study the textbooks I'll bought on that same topic.
+ The note I got, I'll make my own note on the topic without check the course materials and the textbook.
+ Next is, I'll watch the lecture videos, while watching, I'll be taking notes. I do this for all my course!

Let me stop here, I'll continue tomorrow.... I must confess, I am tired and fainting.

Although, it's tasking, take note of this.

"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." (Proverbs 22:29).

If you'll like a copy of my E-book titled: "Techniques for Learning at University Level" send me your email to my whatsapp number on: 08131388834 as:

"I want the E-book, Techniques for Learning at University Level, this is my email......."

I love you. Please share it...
