HOW TO MILK A COW

1 Make sure the cow has a halter and is tied to a sturdy post or held in a stanchion.

2 Clean the teats with soapy water or iodine. (Warm water may help coax or "bring down" the milk.) Dry the teats, but don't rub or irritate them.

3 Place a bucket underneath the udder. Better yet, hold it between your legs. It takes practice, but this can be done easily and comfortably. This position reduces the chance of the cow kicking over the pail of milk.

4. Sit or squat in a position that will allow you to move away quickly if the cow becomes uncooperative. Sitting cross-legged on the ground, for example, is not safe. (See Warnings below.) An ordinary milk stool can be fabricated with two 2x4's cut and nailed to form a "T" - cut to fit your behind and make sure it is low enough to afford comfortable access to the cow's teats.

5 Apply a lubricant such as Vaseline to your hands to minimize friction.

6 Wrap your warm hands around two of the four teats. Choose diagonal teats (front left and rear right, for example). Or, try the front teats first, then the back pair.

7 Squeeze the base of the teat, after gently clamping each teat between your extended thumb and first finger, so that the teat fills your palm as you squeeze down.

8 Squeeze down to push out the milk, maintaining your grip on the base of the teat so that the milk doesn't flow back up into the udder. Do not jerk or yank the teats. This motion is performed by sequentially squeezing your fingers from the middle to the pinky to force the milk out. Be gentle yet firm. Keep your eyes peeled for mastitis

9 Repeat with your other hand. Most people prefer to alternate (right hand, left hand, right hand, etc.) The downward squeezing motions takes less effort doing it in alternate steps than all at the same time.

10 Continue until the quarter that you're milking looks deflated. Experienced farmers can feel the udder to know exactly when all the milk has come down. Often even looking at the quarter just milked can tell you if it's been emptied enough or not.

11 Move on to milk the other two teats. If you use the diagonal method, switching sides is not necessary.

THE NEED FOR MOTHERS CELEBRATION

We all know what mother importance in our life is. Mother's are very important and needed in child life. In our all life we learn different things from our mother. Mothers always teach us and her advice are always very beneficial for us.

We can't ignore her advices. Mother is the nurturers & custodian of their kids and families. It is harder these days for mothers to be capable to be with their kids to the extent that they utilized to be because generally two parents require working full-time jobs just to stay alive or survive. Mother's always our very close and best friend and she is only person in the world who never deceives to their children.

For this reason, a day has been set aside to celebrate MOTHERS. This day is called "Mother's Day" It is a day set aside whereby you get to show your mom (or the mother of your children) how grateful you are that she is in your life. Don't waste the opportunity.

If it weren't for your mom, you wouldn't be breathing right now. If nothing else, you should thank her for that.

Mother is always deserved for everything. If our mother's are does everything for us then it's our responsibility to do everything for her. She keeps a very important place in our life. Without mother our life is black & white.

We should be friendly with mothers. We should respect her. Mother prayers always makes us successful person. We know mother's day come once in the year and on this special day we wish to our mothers and make mother's day special.

Mother heart is always very soft and patient. Mother heart is like a rare jewel. They love their kids during the worst (trouble) & best of times. All mothers are not same but all mothers love their children and want to see them happy. Mother is a great gift for us from God. No one can take place of mother.

Let me quickly outline why Mothers are very important and why we need to celebrate them.

Take a look....

+ Mothers are the emotional backbones of the family. They provide the holding place for everyone's feelings and do their best to keep us from being hurt.

+ Who would kiss your boo-boos to make it all better if she weren't around? Mothers have the magic touch (and kiss) to help us heal our wounds, physical and emotional.

+ Truly, our mothers worked hard and made sacrifices, so our lives would be better. There are not a lot of people willing to do that, so let her know you appreciate it.

+ Mothers are forgiving—so forgive her in return. Perhaps nothing will be as valuable a gift to both of you as forgiveness. Open your heart and drop your resentments. Now that's love.

+ When you want to climb the tallest mountain, your mother will make your lunch for you. She is the one who will support your dreams when no one else will. She will also remind you to wear clean underwear.

+ Her boundaries made you a better person. You may not have liked some of her decisions, especially when you wanted to party with your friends, but she did keep you out of trouble. Look at some of your friends without a mom who has cared that much.

+ A mother's ears and eyes hear and see everything. They also have a computer-like memory for all the good (and some of the bad) that came your way. It's nice to have someone with whom you can reminisce about your whole life.

+ Mom taught you to be a functioning adult. That was her job, and without that, making it through the modern world would be very hard. Your mom may have forced you to do your homework, but now you see how important it was.

+ A mother's smile, when it is directed toward you, makes your day a whole lot better. All she needs is to know that she has helped you to be and feel your best. Say thank you.

As with most holidays, Mother's Day comes only once a year. Make it special for her, and it will come back to you. There is something beyond words to express to the person who helped you to walk and talk, who gave you your first puppy, who helped you with school, and who gave you all the love she possibly could. Show her you care by acknowledging her value in your life. And if you don't have your mom around, probably, you are orphan, or from a divorced home or whatever, take someone who is like a mother to you out for brunch.

Before I pen off, let me talk to ladies not mothers. Ladies, I want you to know that, you are not yet a "MOTHER" but a "MOTHER TO BE". So, open you ears and listen, to be a mother isn't a joke or nothing, it's a critical position and no man ever wants a 'crazy' wife! It is only guys who want a 'crazy' girlfriend, so don't be deceived.

A guy who wants you to party hard every weekend, expose your boobs, wear skimpy clothes, loud make ups and get down with 11bottles of beer while he is on
15 will NEVER marry you!

A guy who wants sex everywhere with you when he is not yet married to you will see you as a whore when the time for marriage eventually comes...

Have you ever wondered why most of these crazy guys go for the 'timid' and 'local' looking girls when it comes to marriage but dump the sexy, sassy and gorgeous looking ones??? A man wants more than beauty for marriage!

The most funniest thing is that those boobs you are flaunting everywhere will eventually SAG someday, so invest in yourself! A man really wants a place he can call home, he wants a woman who is modest and can take care of his parents, one with whom the children can confide in, the one he can take major decisions with and tell all his fears.

He wants a wife, mother and sister all in one...

I'm not saying that looking good is bad. Infact looking good is good business, but you have got to look beyond that and pay more attention to things that keep a home. If you truly want to attract a decent man, please be decent yourself and do not let any man use you to pass time!

I pray for you may GOD grant you the wisdom to be the woman a man truly needs...

It's a pleasure.....

Happy Mothers' Day!
